CPR Course

Coach Sartain attended a launch for “CPR Anytime” program held at Owensboro High School on the 29th of October. This launch was to let the community know that there will be 11 schools in surrounding counties that will be training students in the skill of CPR. This $75,000 grant from the Owensboro Community Health Benefit Program will allow each student who’s class is chosen to be trained with the CPR Anytime kit and then that student will be able to take their own personal kit home to train other family members. Members of the general public who would most likely would never attend a traditional CPR course can learn the core skills of CPR in just 22 minutes. The kit contains everything needed to learn the basic CPR skills anywhere, from the comfort of a family home to a large community group setting.
