Pest Management

The McLean County Board of Education has implemented a program of Integrated Pest Management (IMP) in order to control pests in a way that minimizes economic, health and environmental risks by implementing an inspection and monitoring program.  The School will send out a notification form at the beginning of the Fall and Spring Semesters so you can sign-up at the front office of the school your child attends to be notified twenty-four hours in advance of a planned pesticide application.  Some pesticide applications do not require notification of planed applications.  In the case of an emergency application, you would be notified as soon as possible after the application with an explanation as to why the application was made.  This information is available to all parents and employees requesting it.
